24 Thousand Tourists Arrived To Saudi Arabia Within 10 Days Only

The Saudi Foreign Ministry announced yesterday evening that about 24,000 tourists entered Saudi Arabia during the first 10 days after instant tourist visas were issued at airports in the Kingdom

The ministry published the number of visitors of the top 10 countries as per the following list;

 

The Most Important Features of the New Tourist E-Visa

Visitors traveling to Saudi Arabia with the new tourist visas can use it to perform the Umrah outside the Hajj season and without a sponsor, like other visas. Additionally, women on tourist visas can perform Umrah without accompaniment by a male family member.

The tourist visa does not exclude any tourist on the basis of religion. The tourist visa allows for multiple visits within a year, as long as each visit does not exceed 90 days.

The tourist visa system was introduced as a part of Saudi Arabia’s plans to create one million new jobs and welcome 100 million tourists by 2030

The E-Visa Machine at the Kingdom’s Airports

The Ministry of Interior introduced E-visa machines for issuing the tourist visas at GITEX International Technology Fair in Dubai

The machines are located at the airports of Riyadh, Dammam, Jeddah, Madinah, as well as at the King Fahd Causeway border with Bahrain at the Al Batha border with the UAE
