Travellers, if you’ve been planning a trip from Abu Dhabi to London then you’re in luck! British Airways officially resumed their daily flights between the two cities after a 4-year pause on the route. Yesterday morning, Zayed International Airport welcomed the first British Airways flight from London!

You read that right, British Airways’ daily flights are officially back

This new route connecting the two cities is the newest addition to the growing list of international airlines now operating from the state-of-the-art Terminal A at Zayed International Airport. Additionally, this new flight strengthens trade and tourism links between the UAE and UK! It also caters to the growing demand for further flights between Zayed International Airport and London Heathrow Airport. The UAE and the UK have enjoyed historically long standing ties, and the launch of daily British Airways flights from Abu Dhabi to London further solidifies this relationship.

Here’s a fun fact for all travellers out there: London Heathrow is one of the top 5 destinations for travellers at Zayed International Airport with 290,000 passengers flying this route in the first 3 months of 2024.
