With the fog, rain and in some place hailstones, traffic got pretty bad in Dubai yesterday, with people stuck in queues for hours. Don’t even get us started on the snow in RAK…yes snow….
Today, it took my just over an hour to drive EIGHT kilometers.
TRAFFIC.
TRAFFIC EVERYWHERE.

But one clever visitor, English cricket legend Kevin Pietersen figured out a way to avoid delay by erm..hailing (excuse the pun) an Uber chopper to get him from A to B.
He even managed to take a futuristic picture of brooding clouds approaching our fine city, these are the same clouds that pelted us with various downpours later in the day.
Kevin is in town to play with the Quette Gladiators in a T20 competition.
Pietersen’s side beat the Lahore Qalandars in phase three of the Twenty20 competition on Tuesday, and will now face Peshawar Zalmi in their first play-off on Friday.
