Recycling 50 Used Plastic Bottles Will Earn You A Topped-Up Nol Card In Dubai

Hold on to those plastic bottles (you know who you are, especially offices in the city!)

Recycling 50 plastic bottles can get people a NOL card topped up with AED25. The initiative is to encourage people to move to a more plastic-free future; hence Mall of the Emirates will be gifting the first 500 UAE residents the NOL card with AED25 credit. 

All you have to do is hand over 50 plastic bottles to a dedicated area at the mall, and get your NOL card- if you’re one of the lucky first 500 peeps, of course. 

There will be a recycling machine at the mall to kick things off

The pilot project will take place this week, starting November 5 and if it’s successful, they’ll continue the project. Get recycling!

Eventually, Mall of the Emirates MAF loyalty programme, Share, will also give away points on the app for resident’s recycling efforts.
