A family was stranded in the Dubai desert, and couldn’t believe their luck when none other than His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai came to their rescue.

The story and images were shared online this weekend and has since gone viral.

Towing the vehicle to safety

Their vehicle got stuck in the sand before HH Sheikh Mohammed and his group happened to pass by. He used his recognisable Mercedes-Benz G-Class with number one number plate to tow the vehicle and guide the family to safety.
