Watch: This New Slide Near Burj Park Is The Absolute Business And Will Even Keep You Cool

The Downtown Slide

If you’ve been hanging around Downtown Dubai recently, you may have noticed a big lump of metal being mounted bit-by-bit just down the steps from Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard to Burj Park. You may have also noticed, it looks a bit like a slide. Well, you were right; The Downtown Slide, a 19 metre long slide has been erected and at it’s highest point reaches seven metres.

Ok, so you might think that sliding down a metal slide in 45˚ c heat isn’t such a good idea but since the slide has state-of-the-art-insulation it’s always going to be cool and won’t heat up, no matter how hot it gets.

Open from 4pm to 1am the slide is completely free of charge
