Dubai’s Brunch Concept Is Spreading To The Rest Of The World

Avatar

Friday brunch in Dubai is a ritual (barring the month of Ramadan). If you haven’t been to one yet, where have you been?

Anyway, going back to this boozy, gluttonous affair…it’s so popular that Mojo The FoodBar in Newport, south east Wales, is celebrating its first year with the launch of a bottomless brunch. The ground-breaking fine dining and cocktail restaurant opened its doors in Newport last August.

This is what the co-owners Lewis Lewis and Seng Koh had to say:

“Our Bottomless Brunch will be a whole lot of fun. It’s a style of dining and socialising which is extremely popular in Dubai. It’s a mainstay in people’s social calendars there, as once a month they gather at specific restaurants to enjoy the leisurely brunch, drinks and a natter with friends and business associates.”

Oh boy! We do this more than once a month, but anyway this is what their brunch will be like…

Medium-sized dishes and sharing hot plates will be complemented with beverages created by house mixologist Christos Kyriakidis. The brunch will first be available to diners on 6 August then every month thereafter.

And they have their fingers crossed

“We’re confident that the Bottomless Brunch will prove very popular with our customers as much as they are in Dubai.”
