This Dubai Expat Is Attempting A World Record For Charity

Avatar

Taylor Swift is being given a run for her money by Dubai expat Swapna Abraham. The established musician is attempting to set a new record of writing 1000 songs in 1000 days. With over 24-years of experience under her belt, Abraham is hoping to achieve this as a conclusion of her personal journey of English gospel, pop, rock and country music. After feeling “overwhelmed by a sudden sense of wanting to give up and retire from music,” Abraham came up with the idea, which was inspired by the lady who changed the heart of the angry King with her tales of 1001 Arabian Nights.

But there is a higher cause…

“I want this initiative to have a greater cause and am therefore hoping to partner with EXPO2020, and with a charity that caters to reducing poverty, educating children and rehabilitating refugees,”

Swapna Abraham

Swapna Abraham will collaborate with sponsors, corporations, sound engineers, musicians, singers and the media, whilst being backed by the World Records Organisation.
