After seeing a delivery driver take a hard fall off his motorbike, Dubai-based chef, Bassam Nader shared his concerns for delivery drivers who are on a strict time crunch.
Of course, every food delivery company wants to be the best and deliver customers’ orders in the shortest amount of time possible but this may have put a strain on the drivers. With companies promising shorter delivery times, drivers are forced to rush on the roads, putting their safety at risk.

I just witnessed an accident happen in front of my eyes, next to Al Barari. I stopped by to assist the gentleman because it was a very bad slide that he did. I went down to assist in a way and I asked ‘are you okay’ and all that. He’s fine, he’s okay but then I asked him ‘why are you in a hurry’? He said ‘customer called and he wants his food now.
Bassan said in the video.
The moral of the story is to be mindful of the drivers’ safety first.
