Popular LOL Dolls Removed From UAE Toy Stores After An Extremely Concerning Discovery

Consumers internationally are in uproar after it has been revealed the popular LOL dolls have a sinister side.

LOL dolls, which actually stands for Lil Outrageous Littles, (how did we not twig sooner?!) have three series and they come with a range fashion accessories, but customers have now realised that when you dip *some of them in water, their clothes disappear, and the dolls then appear to be wearing highly provocative garb like suspenders, fishnets and bondage.

“LOL should be ashamed of themselves. Throw them out!”

One mum blogger in the UAE, Helly O’Brien tested the waters, so to speak, and shocked parents are thanking her for highlighting the concerning sexualised messaging.

People are disgraced to learn the underside of LOL Dolls and thankful to the people bringing this story to attention

One Facebook user commented, “Disgusting it’s a joke. Makes you wonder what other toys out there are hidden messages” with another adding,  “This is utterly disgusting and Very disturbing. Thank you for sharing this awareness”.

People are labelling the toys ‘extremely’ inappropriate

It’s worth noting, it doesn’t happen to EVERY LOL doll

MGA entertainment, the creator of the dolls responded to the controversy

They told Fast Company

“L.O.L Surprise! is a fashion-forward doll brand designed to be fun and expressive. We work very hard to be a brand that listens and adapts to our fans’ requests. We acknowledge the recent feedback received and thank you for bringing it to our attention. We have implemented comprehensive corrective measures to our design and approval process while ensuring the essence of the brand is kept intact.”

It’s hard to know exactly what they mean, but it SOUNDS like the accept they mistake and are going to rectify it.

UAE toy stores have acted quickly and the toys have already been removed from shelves

Toys R Us confirmed to Gulf News, that the toys have been removed from the shelves while internationally major toy stores have also removed the pricey and popular children’s toys from shelves.
