9. Take your children to Little Dahlings: an improvised play celebrating the splendiferous world of Roald Dahl

Dive into the magical mind of one of the most adored children’s authors in this unique and interactive play created by you, the audience! Help Roald decide on the hero of our story, and the villains, monsters, friends and animals you will meet along the way. 8. The youth takeover returns to the Jameel Arts Center

Marking the culmination of a year-long talent development programme, the Youth Takeover presents ‘Composite’, an exhibition featuring new commissions by young artists based in the UAE and works from the Art Jameel Collection, accompanied by a public programme of free workshops and the yearly Takeover Curators Panel.⁠

This year’s theme, ‘composite’, asks “What makes us?”⁠

1. Monster Jam returns to Abu Dhabi after almost a decade with an adrenaline-charged weekend

Families and motorsports fans will be in for a high-octane experience when 5-ton trucks defy the laws of physics as they go head-to-head on a series of different competitions including racing, freestyle and skills contests.
