Australian national airline, Qantas has announced it will no longer be stopping over in Dubai for its 82-year-old route from Sydney to London.
The airline will be reverting to stop in Singapore instead of Dubai.
Qantas CEO, Alan Joyce told reporters that Emirates services the Dubai route enough, and hopes to tap more into the Asian market going forward.
Joyce said: “Our partnership has evolved to a point where Qantas no longer needs to fly its own aircraft through Dubai,” Joyce said.
