Last week, Dubai’s Crown Prince shared snaps of his new family (he’s now a proud Dad of twins!) and since then, we can’t get enough of the Dubai royal family.
The Al Maktoum family is the leading royal family in the UAE, lead by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. He is the ruling Sheikh and many of his children are prominent members of society.
Quietly, they are heavily involved in government, media, philanthropy, the arts, sports and more, and they share snippets to the ‘gram, where we can piece together a little bit of what life must be like for Dubai’s royal family.

Like many of his siblings, HH Sheikh Majid, bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum graduated from Rashid School for Boys, he then went on to attend The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS) in the UK. Not only did he finish the training, but he was also selected for the ‘Sword of Honour’ upon completion. Back in Dubai, he enrolled in Dubai Police Academy and since then his experience is a mixed bag, including charity work, along with leading roles in many sporting events.
He chaired Dubai Culture and Arts and worked to position Dubai as a central point for the arts and culture. He is an ambassador for Dubai Cares and is a big fan of sports; he’s into CrossFit, horse riding, camel racing and he is the patron of many sporting events.
Less active on social media than some of his other siblings, he has 560k followers on the gram where he shares adorable family snaps and general life updates.

HH Sheikh Mansoor Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum became Chairman of Dubai Sports Council in 2020 under a decree issued by his Dad, HH Sheikh Mohammed. He took over the position from his brother, Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan who held the position since the Council was formed back in 2005.
He’s active on the ‘gram and he shares updates of his lifestyle with his 751k followers which feature snaps of Dubai government life, along with posts of his passions and pursuits.
Outside of royal life, he’s a fan of adrenaline activities; he loves triathlons, skiing, and riding horses, he’s also been pictured with Drake here in Dubai… So we know he has great taste in music too!
