A Huge New Bridge Linking Two Major Dubai Roads Is Almost Complete
A new bridge linking Al Khalil Road to the Financial Centre Road is 90% complete.
The project, which cost AED 177 million, is expected to be completed before the end of this year and aims to ease traffic congestion on the two roads.
The bridge stretches nearly 1,270 metres and crosses over Dubai Water Canal.

The project is a sideline to Emaar’s massive Dubai Mall expansion
‘The project has become vital to accommodate Emaar’s massive expansion of the Dubai Mall’ according to Wam.ae. The Dubai real estate company are planning a massive expansion to the mall, including a large new fashion avenue and a huge extension to the parking facilities. The new additions will mean the mall will have the capability to hold 100 million visitors per annum.
