British Airways Cancelled Cheap Flights To Dubai And Twitter Is Going OFF

Avatar

Uh-oh, British Airways is coming under fire after a technical glitch meant flights from the UK to Dubai went on sale for just £200.

As you can imagine, people jumped at the chance to grab the slashed priced flights, before the UK airline and flight agents realised the blunder.

People were informed by email days later that their flights were cancelled, and fares refunded.

British Airways have since apologised to agents and refunded the fares

“We’ve contacted the small number of travel agents who were able to access the incorrect fare for the short period it was available to advise them and apologise.

We are fully refunding the tickets that were booked.”

-British Airways representative

More than 2,000 people were caught up in the furore, and these tweets sum of the general reaction
