With COVID-19 cases on the rise since the discovery of the latest and more transmissible Omicron variant, government bodies around the world are amping up preventive measures and re-introducing minor restrictions in a bid to perverse our progress and curb the spread of the virus.
This applies to travel, gatherings, events as well as schools. UAE schools and universities have laid out their new directives for the upcoming semester.
As confirmed by the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority, (NCEMA).
Starting January 3rd, 2022 this new directive will apply to public schools, universities as well as training institutions.

Dubai’s Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) has confirmed that PRIVATE SCHOOLS in Dubai will continue regular face-to-face learning during the second semester.
Although, canteens, gatherings & school trips will be suspended for the first two weeks of the semester.
