The travel ban to Lebanon which was imposed back in 2011 has been officially lifted on October 8. UAE nationals will now freely be able to travel back and fro the Middle-Eastern country.
This prohibition of Emiratis travelling to Lebanon was lifted when His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, met with Lebanon’s Prime Minister Saad Hariri at Al Bahr Palace in Abu Dhabi.
During their meeting, Hariri expressed his gratitude to the UAE for its tremendous support towards the fraternal country while it was going through challenges.
