A UAE Commercial Flight Has Been Intercepted By Qatari Fighter Jets
A UAE commercial plane was intercepted by Qatari fighter jets this morning, according to WAM.ae.
The flight was on a regular, approved flight path and the final destination was Manama, Bahrain.
It’s been described as “a flagrant and serious threat to the safety of civil aviation and a clear violation of international laws and conventions’ according to the The UAE General Authority of Civil Aviation, GCAA.
“The United Arab Emirates rejects this threat to the safety of air traffic and will take all the necessary legal measures to ensure the safety and security of civil aviation” according to the report.
