Only Women Market To Be Inaugurated In Islamabad
Islamabad is set to have an ‘only women’ market. A market where women can freely shop and get their essentials without interacting with any man. Isn’t it great!
Sheikh Rashid Ahmad, the Minister of Interior, said that a separate women’s market will be established in the Federal capital by October 30.
Only Women ALLOWED!
It was critical to include women in the country’s overall growth. In addition, two women’s universities have opened in Rawalpindi, with a third set to open soon.
The interior minister urged women to step forward and take their rightful place in all aspects of life. Sheikh Rasheed stated that women must be included in the country’s overall development.
The government is taking steps towards women’s empowerment. During the address, the interior minister talked about the establishment of women colleges in Rawalpindi. A female student secured a top position after studying at one of these colleges. The student is the daughter of a poor Rikshaw driver.
These initiatives will ultimately give a boost to the confidence of women of the country. It will also ensure women’s empowerment.
Women Empowerment Is The Key!
IWCCI’s Founder President, Samina Fazil, commended the minister for his efforts to empower women. The minister also administered the oath of office to the newly elected IWCCI executive members and gave shields to the attendees.
Two women universities were established in the recent past. A third women’s university will soon be inaugurated to increase women’s empowerment.
Interior Minister met with a delegation from the Islamabad Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IWCCI) in June and highlighted the importance of involving women in economic activities in the country.
Women play an important role in the country’s progress and development. To match the rapid development and technological advancement women empowerment is necessary.
