COVID-19: Baish Residents Are Now Living Under 24-Hour Lockdown
A 24-hour lockdown has been imposed on Baish in Jizan, as The Kingdom continues efforts to curb COVID-19.
Effective from Tuesday, the public does not have permission to enter or leave the area, and residents can only leave their homes for essential purposes, which include buying food and medical reasons.
To that effect, all commercial activities have been banned, excluding medical facilities, pharmacies, food stores, gas stations and a number of other essential services.
Essential workers are permitted to move around within the region.
The number of infected cases in the region has increased to 41,014 including 28,022 active cases and 149 critical cases
