F1 Driver Sebastian Vettel Hosts Karting Event For Saudi Women Drivers In Jeddah
The who’s who from the world of F1 are here in Jeddah for the Saudi Arabian GP but one F1 driver, Sebastian Vettel, managed to make time off his busy schedule and organize a karting event for women all by himself. Vettel is a Formula One icon, having won four World Drivers’ Championships in a row from 2010 to 2013.
Now, the Aston Martin driver apparently just rented out a track, invited female drivers, interacted with them and held a fun karting event. The group of women were a mixed bag; some of them had previous racing experience while some among them didn’t even have driver’s licenses.

Speaking about the event Vettel said “We set up a nice event only for them and I was trying to pass on some of my experiences in life and on track, to do something together to grow their confidence.”
He adds “I have to say I was inspired by their stories and their background and the positivity about the change in the country.”
