Vogue Arabia’s social media accounts have been relentlessly teasing us with its jaw-dropping content leading up to its first Saudi issue. In celebration of women being able to drive in a few short weeks, by June 24th, the magazine has arranged for a special issue dedicated just for the Kingdom, its creatives, fashionistas and achievements.

The special issue will come in two different covers, with the first one already announced and including Her Royal Higness Shaikha Hayfa Bint Abdullah Al Saud.

It all started when this video was posted on their IG account

With a statement saying “Vogue Arabia is driving into the future with Saudi Arabia. Stay tuned for more on June 1. #SaudiIssue.”

The Instagram post immediately created a buzz amongst GCC fashionistas

…with many wondering what the ‘special issue’ will entail.

Then came another video teaser featuring the Kingdom’s most artistic and talented creatives

Designers, models, stars and another creatives from the Kingdom came together to send an inspiring and powerful message on Saudi’s continuous growth and development. All thanks to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s glorious Vision 2030.

And finally, they showed us the first cover of the Saudi Issue for Vogue Arabia!

And it did not dissappoint one bit.

Her Royal Highness Princess Hayfa bint Abdullah Al Saud graced the first (out of two) cover of the esteemed magazine, sitting in a vintage vehicle somewhere in the desert. Rocking a beautiful abaya with shoes by Stuart Weitzman, her power pose and the cover’s setting is the perfect representation of the Saudi woman today.

The second cover is to be announced later on this Wednesday, while the magazine is set to hit the shelves on June 1.

Vogue talked to HRH Princess Hayfa who said she supports the changes made in the Kingdom with ‘great enthusiasm’

The Saudi Issue will include an interview with HRH Princess Hayfa, artist and daughter of the late King Abdullah.

This is just too exciting for words.

The second cover look! (absolutely divine, if we must say)
