Saudi Lost To Belgium In The Football But All Twitter Cared About Was Reliving The EPIC ’94 Finish
Last night Belgium took on Saudi in a UEFA nations league friendly, and while we suffered a disappointing loss from a class Belgian side, judging from social media, Saudi’s thoughts were elsewhere.
That ’94 goal we’ll never forget.
The footage was shared over and over again on social media, what better way to psych out the Belgian team than with this epic finish right? Unfortunately, that game plan didn’t quite work out, but nothing like reliving the glory days!
Everyone remembered the glorious ’94 win
You know who’s saeed Al Owairan ? ????????????

Maybe a little too much…
Prior to the big friendly today, majority of Saudi media focusing on Saeed Al Owairan’s ’94 WC goal against Belgium instead of what the potential team should take from the game in terms of learnings. Not that it would matter anyway.

Not sure about this one…
We might be on the verge of getting battered by Belgium but 50% of the Saudi population is more concerned of whether or not the referee will be a girl.
