More Than 20,000 Tourists Have Already Visited Saudi Arabia In The First 10 Days Of The Visa Launch
The Saudi tourist visa was launched in late September and thousands of people have already visited the kingdom.
According to reports, over 24,000 people have already visited the Kingdom in the first 10 days since the visa was launched
Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has revealed that over 24,000 people have used the electronic tourist visa since its launch.
And most of the travelers to Saudi Arabia so far are visitors from China. Visitors from the UK and the US came in second and third place with France, Germany, Canada, Malaysia, Russia, Australia and Kazakhstan also among the “top 10 countries” list.
The new travel document system allows tourists from 49 countries to enter the country.
The visa scheme is part of a plan to transform Saudi Arabia into a tourism hotspot, a key goal under Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s Vision 2030.
