Billionaire Thomas Kaplan Who Owns The World’s Largest Private Collection Of Dutch Golden Age Artworks To Exhibit Rembrandt Collection In The Kingdom
Dutch artist Rembrandt is considered one of the greatest visual artists in the history of art. Many of his famous works may soon be on display in Saudi Arabia courtesy of American billionaire Thomas Kaplan.
Kaplan holds 17 works by Rembrandt and while speaking to the Financial Times, Kaplan revealed that a Rembrandt exhibition in Saudi Arabia is “now is in the works”.

The billionaire art collector holds the world’s largest private collection of Dutch Golden Age artworks. It is still not clear whether artworks of his 250-strong collection other than those by Rembrandt will be exhibited in the kingdom.
In Saudi Arabia, Kaplan is involved in the AlUla project that seeks to reintroduce the Arabian leopard to the Al Ula region.
