The Ministry Of Health Has Clarified On Rumors About A Possible Eid Curfew

There has been a lot of speculation going on that curfews might be coming back – especially in time for Eid.

The Saudi Ministry of Health however has denied that authorities will request curfews during Eid

The spokesperson stated that these rumors are not true and the ministry has not received any orders to enforce curfews.

The ministry also stressed the importance of adhering to coronavirus disease (COVID-19) precautionary measures, saying “if society abides by these measures — wearing masks and keeping a safe distance, avoiding large gatherings and adhering to the numbers allowed, especially during Eid — we won’t need further restrictions or curfews”.

The public is also being urged to receive their vaccines.
