PICS: The Crown Prince Launched The First Saudi-Built Trainer Jet Earlier This Week
The first ever aircraft that was entirely assembled in Saudi Arabia just took air earlier this week.
The Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman launched the Hawk jet training aircraft himself
The jet was assembled entirely by Saudi citizens with some of its parts manufactured also manufactured locally.
The Crown Prince was briefed on the stages of assembly and manufacturing the main parts of the Hawk during the launch ceremony.
The Crown Prince also signed the front of the plane
The event took place at King Abdulaziz Air Base in the Eastern Sector.
