Calling All Aspiring Baristas: The First-Ever Beverage Mixology Competition Is Coming To Saudi

Non-alcoholic, of course!

For the first time ever, a Mocktail competition to test the ingenuity and talent of Saudi Mixologist has arrived. The SAUDI MONIN CUP Competition, A partnership between Bidfood KSA and Georges Monin SAS France, brings the battle of the flavored-syrups, design element, fruit mixes, sauces and frappes to the Kingdom.

The international competition has seen tens of thousands of people from all over the world, competing to see who makes the best-looking, incredible-tasting mocktails. Now, Saudi Arabia will get to do the same.

Winners can take home $2,000 or SAR 7,000+ for their winning recipe

Under the theme “Mix your origins”, Any applicant based in Saudi who has TWO years of professional experience either as baristas, mixologists or is currently enrolled in a culinary school.

Tell a friend to tell a friend that ALL you need to do, to qualify for the, is to submit two non-alcoholic beverage Recipe using at least 10ml of any  Monin’s products to create – one hot and one cold drink.

Also, do remember, you cannot change your recipe once submitted.

FYI, Monin is known all over the world for having some of the tastiest liquid syrups!

Do you have what it takes? The national competition will last two months

Each Saudi region will be given a chance to showcase their skilllllls, so if you’re from Riyadh, Jeddah and Alkhobar- your time to shine is now.

Only 10 selected semifinalists will be able to join the Regional semifinals that will officially be held in each Bidfood culinary studio- per region. The Monin Cup finals, however, will take place on December 5 in Riyadh.
