Dubai will soon get its very own version of Hollywood’s notorious ‘Walk of Fame’. Reports say that the stars will feature around 10,000 celebrities AND influencers (yup, you heard it.)

And apparently, anyone and everyone who has paved the way for fields in the entertainment, art, sports and literature are subject to have their star here in the city.

Even social influencers could get their own star

Although no confirmation has been made as of yet on whether or not this will include social media influencers, according to Time Out Dubai, the project will pay tribute to those have positively influenced the fields of ‘music, art, sports, film and literature.’

Social influencers who could make it to the Walk of Fame in Dubai will have to get steady nominations and be part of the first 400 names submitted.

It’s first opening will take place in October

Major shooketh, the first bits of the new display will be revealed in October at the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard at Downtown Dubai.
