HH Sheikh Hamdan Is Creating More High-Tech Jobs In Dubai
The crown prince of Dubai, HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed has just tweeted the launch of the ‘Dubai Research and Development Programme’ – a new project that aims to boost Dubai’s knowledge economy and establish it as the hub of Research and Development.
Officials and experts from the government, private, and academic sectors will supervise the project implementation

The project marks Dubai’s shift to a knowledge-based economy
It will achieve four key objectives:

- Make Dubai the preferred regional R&D Centre
- Attracting investments and making changes to Dubai’s top R&D priorities
- Boosting the knowledge-based economy and creating high-tech jobs
- Maximizing the private sector’s contribution in launching and funding R&D projects and initiatives
What this means is that it’s time to sharpen and upskill, because there’s a whole new range of opportunities coming up in various fields.
The announcement also narrows down to four aspects: Health and well-being, Environmental Technology, Smart Built Infrastructure, Space and Augmented Human-Machine Intelligence
