30 Photos that show the Dubai Tour came of age this year!

The 2016 Dubai Tour has been racing around the streets of Dubai for the past four days. You may have followed it in person, seen the advertising billboards, read about it here, or most likely…been obstructed by the road closures! Although, the Dubai Tour is still in its infancy (this is the race’s third year) the quality of teams, the racing itself, the top cyclists that took part, all indicate that this event is now a top fixture on the annual cycling calendar. With a race classification of 2.1, it’s considered a regular official event but not quite a ‘major’ in Golf terms, or a ‘masters’ in tennis terms…but it could just be a matter of time!

These shots will give you an idea of how well it was run by Dubai Sports Council and RSC Sports.
