A Half-Naked Drunk Man Assaulted Police Officers And Caused AED1,000 Worth Of Damage
A man has appeared in court for being drunk in public – while half-naked, and assaulting police officers while resisting arrest.
According to the courts, the man was seen intoxicated in public, in the Al Naif area in June and was spotted by police officers.
The Indian man was allegedly drunk, and walking in the street. The police proceeded to arrest the man, who aggressively resisted, beating and kicking the officers, and breaking the police car door.
The case was heard on Monday, and a ruling is expected soon.
