This Heartfelt Poem About The Dubai World Cup Sums Up Just How Much The Ruler Of Dubai Loves Horses

Avatar

It’s no secret that the Dubai royal family are fond of their horses, especially HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, who is a well-known equine enthusiast.

With the biggest sporting (and social) event in Dubai – the Dubai World Cup – being just hours away from starting at the Meydan Racecourse…

…it’s only fitting that the Ruler of Dubai has released a new poem celebrating this event.

Titled Dubai World Cup, HH Sheikh Mohammed expresses his passion for horses saying, “they are my life, my joy from the very first day.”

It’s the richest horse race in the world, but Dubai’s ruler hails the event as unique, saying that welcoming people to the race is the real victory for him.

He has brought his love of the animal to life through the written word and it’s BEAUTIFUL
