A new campaign is having soothing music played on radio stations in the mornings, in a bid to reduce traffic accidents. 

The campaign, by Chevrolet Arabia, found that the most common time for car accidents is during Ramadan, specifically between 9-10am. 

Studies have found that soothing music can help reduce the incidence of traffic accidents, so Chevrolet is working with three local radio stations to play soothing music in this time. 

Radio stations playing the soothing music are: 

• Channel 4 – 104.8 FM
• Al Rabia – 107.8 FM
• Radio 4 – 89.1 FM

Music with lower beats-per-minute has been shown to have a ‘calming effect on drivers’ 

And these tunes are hoping to get people to slow down, and chill out.
