Avatar

Just ONE more day left. Everyone’s suuuper excited (as they should be) and Dubai is not leaving out anything when it comes to the health and safety of everyone. Some streets have already gotten a makeover and all the commute rules have been fixed!

In addition to it all, the Dubai Police Chief, Lt Gen Abdullah Al Marri, did a tour of everything

An operations room has been set up to make sure all celebrations are being held safely which is where he was given a lowdown on how the crowd will be managed throughout the celebrations. With 23 locations all ready to celebrate across the city, the Dubai Police have decided to keep 4,000 officers to ensure everything is going smoothly AND safely.

About 200 security points will be set up throughout Dubai

At least 2000 patrol cars will be all around the city AND 200 security points have been created that will come into power on NYE. Talk about being organised! Dubai Police will also be using artificial intelligence for checking people’s body temperatures that will be around Dubai’s famous NYE attractions.

The Police Chief was also given a brief about the health facilities set up. This includes three field hospitals in Downtown Dubai as well as other medical support that will be running.
