12 pictures that show why we’ll be living off Dum Dum Doughnuts

We’re feeling pretty full today…after filling our faces at the launch of Dubai’s first Dum Dum Doughnuts store. We popped along to the opening on Jumeriah Beach Road yesterday to meet creator (and food genius) Paul Hurley, who had popped over from London. And of course to try every flavour of his wonderful baked doughnuts…and we were not disappointed! 

Dum Dum Doughnuts are famed for being the world’s first artisan baked doughnut/croissant doughnut brand. The delicious doughnuts are made with natural ingredients and are handmade then baked rather than fried. Up until now, they’ve been available in London at Harrods, Box Park, Brick Lane, Old Street and Westfield Stratford City. 

Lucky for us, Paul, who told us all about the Peter Andre dum dum (named after the Australian singer because he took a liking to it and ordered so many), has decided to expand his doughnut empire and brought it to Dubai!

With everything from classic flavours, to the mouthwateringly chocolatey ‘Zebra’, the deliciously English ‘Strawberry Creme’ and the full cake-sized doughnuts..no human will leave disappointed!
