Photos Of Model Bella Hadid Were Removed From The Dubai Mall After Twitter Backlash

Some shops and billboards at The Dubai Mall that had model Bella Hadid’s image have been removed or covered, due to immense backlash on social media.

It’s been a long week, but one of the main controversies that got people talking this week was of the Bella Hadid boot pic, Twitter backlash from the UAE that resulted in the calling of a boycott to any high-end brand the model has ever worked for or with.

Hadid quickly issued an apology, saying that the photo taken was an ‘honest mistake’ and that she would never mean to offend anyone from the Middle East- adding that her teta (grandmother) and father (who are both of Palestinian roots) have taught her better.

The 22-year-old’s face on the Parfums Christian Dior was removed ‘for appeasement’

A spokesperson confirmed with The National that the Dior and Bulgari ads featuring the model were now no longer at The Dubai Mall to appease the public.

Several tweets showing this have also been shared by visitors of the mall
