The ‘Greater Than The Pyramids’ Statement Became Infamous Overnight And Caused Quite A Stir On Social Media

Earlier this week, Khalaf Al Habtoor, Chairman of the Al Habtoor Group was quoted saying that the new Dubai Canal was greater than the pyramids. We respect Al Habtoor’s passion for the latest addition to the city’s architectural repertoire and although the canal is an incredibly impressive sight to see, social media users were somewhat uninspired by the comparison. And didn’t the internet know about it!
