Expo 2020 Dubai opens officially to the public on October 1 and the complete scale of the six-month-long event is hard to comprehend, the location features 192 pavilions, and there will be up to 60 live shows happening EVERY.SINGLE.DAY.

Here’s a rundown of all the cool things happening this October so you don’t miss a thing.

The events are divided by category and in the first month alone there are 3 architecture events, 127 arts and culture events, 2 events at the Mobility Pavillion, 131 live events and performances, 1 sports fitness and well-being event, 15 events at the sustainability Pavilion, 13 business and entrepreneurship events, 19 innovation and technology events, 61 country pavilions and exhibitions and 3 food and drinks exhibitions.
There are heaps of live events including clarinet folklore, late nights at EXPO, World Rhythms with Ghuzeng, the inaugural of the India Pavilion, African Percussion Performance, Street art performances, and HEAPS more. Learn more here

The country exhibitions look like SO much fun!
Don’t miss the inaugural of the Indian Pavilion, the opening of the National Pavilion, the African Percussion Performance, Street Art Sculpture, the Daily Parade, the Moroccan popular events – there are all going down on the first day alone, with heaps more throughout the first month.
Hungry yet? Same! Expo 2020 is luring foodies with The Future of Food, the Epochal Banquet, a rare experience that costs an additional amount to your ticket (AED785), there’s also Nuit food music happening daily from October 8 until March 25.
‘Together for sustainable development’ is one of many cultural forums you can attend, there’s also a Moscow forum, a talk on ‘how we can ramp up private investment in developing countries’ you can learn about ‘Chile- our space story’ and heaps more. Discover more events here.

String and Beats is happening on October 1 from 10.15 to 10.45, an incredible performance of dance, music, and song: “Takala” on October 1 – 5 from 11am to 12pm.
There’s an opening ceremony of the Nationality Pavilion happening on October 1 from 11am – 12pm along with a daily parade between 12.45 and 1.30pm across the country pavilions and exhibitions.
2 biggies you won’t want to miss! Visit the Mobility pavilion for the Air Show, taking place daily from 4.30pm until 6.30pm from October 22 until March 16, there’s also: ‘Dignified Storytelling -Stories of great ambition and hope’ taking place on October 18 from 3pm – 6pm.
My Butterfly KITES FLYING! Taking place daily, from October 30 until March 27 from 6pm – 7.30pm
