Could you even imagine finding AED195,000 CASH?!
Well, a Starbucks employee at Dubai Mall found exactly that during a shift this April.
Mae Anne Olmidillo found AED195,000 in cash, two cheques worth AED500,000 and AED6,250 and a cheque book with documents, which had been forgotten by a male customer. The total sum of the bag exceeded AED200,000 and the owner wasn’t even aware he’d lost it when Dubai Police contacted him.
Em, what?!
The employee is being honoured by Dubai Police after she helped to ensure the bag was returned to its rightful owner.
According to her account, the owner was not aware the bag was missing… SHOOK!
