UAE-based illustrator Mariam Abbas had us hooked on to her Instagram page recently.

One look at the page and it tells you how talented the 32-year-old Emirati really is! Her adorable miniature drawings – which include mosques, food items and elements reflective of UAE’s history and culture – are most often sketches done with pens and pencils, though there’s the occasional use of watercolours.
