It’s FINALLY (almost) here.
The Rugby World Cup kicks off on September 20 and Emirates has just confirmed they’re the official Worldwide Partner for the tournament taking place in Japan.
And to get everyone in the mood, the Dubai-based airline got Nigel Owens onboard. The prominent rugby ref is about to enter his fourth world cup, and though he hardly needs the practice, the footage shows him handing out cards in economy and whistle-blowing in first class.
The @rugbyworldcup™ 2019 is about to take off and we’ve got referee @Nigelrefowens on board to keep an eye on all the action. Stay tuned to see what he gets up to next. #FlyEmiratesFlyBetter #RugbyWithEmirates #RWC2019 pic.twitter.com/xmvYSIwnVX
