Driving recklessly or performing dangerous stunts on roads in Dubai could land you in hot water as these are violations of Decree No. 30 of 2023 concerning traffic violations and the impoundment of vehicles. Earlier this week a driver was arrested for driving recklessly and endangering the lives of others.

“The video captured a motorcyclist engaging in dangerous behaviour, riding amidst vehicles and performing stunts on one wheel, putting their safety and the safety of other road users at serious risk,” Dubai Police said.
The motorbike was also impounded.
22,115 violations were issued against motorcycles in the emirate, along with the confiscation of 858 motorcycles over the past seven months, the police reported. It is imperative that drivers on the road follow traffic safety guidelines as there is a zero-tolerance policy towards individuals who put their own lives or the lives of others at risk.
