Air India Pilot Suspended For Flexing At A Female Friend On A Delhi- Dubai Flight
This pilot won at friendship but that’s pretty much it. Sometimes trying to flex on your friends is going to backfire and this is one such story.
On February 27, a pilot invited his female friend to the cockpit while on a Delhi to Dubai flight, causing a clear safety-sensitive issue
He reportedly also demanded that she be served alcohol and snacks while in the cockpit.
The pilot has been suspended for three months by the Indian Aviation regulator and the airline has been fined
On Friday, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) imposed a fine of INR 30 lakh (AED 134,000) on the airline for not taking proper action against the pilot. The pilot has been suspended for 3 months.
