From flying around the world with Emirates working as a cabin crew, to representing the UAE on an international stage, Indian-born Debanjali Kamstra has consistently raised the UAE flag, showcasing her dedication and commitment to the country she now calls home.
Fresh off her victory at the Mrs. Earth 2023 in Manila, Debanjali graced The Lovin Dubai Show to share her experiences. During the interview, she discussed her triumph, reflecting on how her previous achievement as the second runner-up in MRS World 2023 fueled her determination.
Debanjali emphasized the significance of representing the UAE in the coming year as her win coincides with the year of COP 28 being staged in the UAE. Being able to showcase her dedication to environmental causes on such a global platform is of immense importance to her and the country she represents.
Debanjali acknowledged that while she’s not Emirati born, her role representing the UAE has led to some nay-sayers. Her response is a beautiful tribute to the many people who call the UAE home, without official passport status.
