The Barbie Movie has been approved for release on August 31, the UAE Media Regulatory Office has confirmed in an official statement to Lovin Dubai
Looks like Dubai is going to get its Barbenheimer moment after all.

There were initial speculations that the film would be banned due to the delay in release, but this statement puts those doubts to rest
The official statement read:
After completing the follow-up procedures for cinematic films, approval was granted to show Barbie in cinemas in the country, according to the standards of media content and age classification approved by the Emirates Media Council.
