Dubai peeps can now get a 75 percent discount on their fines, sounds good, doesn’t it? 

Dubai Police has launched a new initiative to for motorists so they can avail discounts on their fines, some can even get a full 100 percent.

Good road behavior can get you discounts 

As part of their third phase of ‘Traffic Fines Settlement’ initiative, motorists who haven’t committed any traffic violations since 7 February 2019 are eligible to get a discount on their fines. 

The initiative was launched on 7 February, and people who didn’t commit any violations for three months were eligible for a 25% discount, six months would be 50% discount and nine months could lead up to 75% discount.

This initiative was taken to promote good road behavior and create a safer road environment.
