The Airline capacity at DXB has increased by 5% compared to 2019 when it was the 4th busiest airport in the world
In 2023, it was the second busiest airport with 56,504,042 seats! That’s an unimaginable number and a massive milestone for this exceptional airport.
The number one spot went to Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL) with 61 million seats! Tokyo International Airport (HND) was the third busiest airport in 2023 with 53 million seats and London Heathrow (LHR) was fourth with 49 million seats, as expected!
Although DXB had a very busy year, traffic was well-managed like always.
