Dubai Introduces A Futuristic Cool New Rail Bus System
Dubai elevates its transportation game with a solar-powered rail bus system
Dubai is reaching new heights in transportation innovation by proposing the development of a rail bus system designed to operate on a solar-panel-equipped bridge. Additionally, there are plans for a double-track system that enables swift and efficient movement of transport units within urban areas.
During the Dubai International Project Management Forum (DIPMF), the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) sealed memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with two specialized companies in transport system development and manufacturing. These agreements were signed with the UK-based Urban-Mass Company and the US-based RAIL BUS Inc.
Duo Rail Floc
The driverless system, powered by electricity, incorporates dual tracks to enable swift and efficient movement of transportation units in urban settings.
Rail Bus
The setup includes vehicles running on a bridge equipped with solar panels. These panels capture solar energy to fuel the system, providing the benefit of reduced expenses compared to similar transportation systems.
