Dubai Islamic Bank Explained Why Banking Transactions Were Halted Yesterday
Several customers of UAE-based Dubai Islamic Bank were wondering what had happened after some of them weren’t able to use their debit cards on Saturday, while some reported to Lovin Dubai that the website and official hotline number was not in function.

On Saturday, Lovin received inquiries about it from the bank’s customers
“Website is down, application is down”
Someone even stated many were stuck in the ATMs at petrol stations waiting
The response: All of their banking services were disrupted due to ‘unforeseen technical issues’ that have now been restored
